I suggest using bagasse, sugarcane products, as they can go into your home compost or commercial compost.  Bagasse can be molded into different shapes and products that are perfect for food service packaging.   Sugarcane Plates, Bowls, Portion Cups, Sugarcane trays for schools, Sugarcane Containers are perfect for your home or office party and events.   Bagasse sugarcane products are100% biodegradable and compostable; decomposes within 90 days in home composting facility.   They do not plastic linings.   They are microwave and freezer safe; sturdy and strong; can take hot food up to 190 degrees F.   They meet FDA guidelines.   Please check out sugarcane products offered by http://www.ecogreenwares.com as their pricing are highly competitive.
