Golf on the downswing?

I love watching golf, on TV and in person. But statistics are showing that participation is not growing as it has in the past. I wonder, do the golfers here on Wellsphere see a change at all? Is it easier to get tee times?

If so, what do you think can be done to reverse this trend?
