Being physically fit is key to golf longevity

A lot of people think of golf as a non-athletic activity rather than as a sport. These people are wrong! The golf swing is one of the most technically difficult motions the human body can be asked to perform. Think about it. You're attempting to move a golf club around your body at speeds of up to 85 to 100 mph! To make that kind of acceleration you have to generate more power than any high end automobile. Now that's power! The question is, how do we perform a swing at that speed consistently, accurately, and most importantly, safely.
