I have had some symptoms over the last 3 years that were suggestive of thyroid disease. Losing weight rapidly, heart palpitations, anxiety, the works. To gaining weight rapidly, feeling tired, worn out, feeling awful when I run.. I have vision loss and choking too...
But about 2 weeks ago my new MD found on an old MRI from 2 years ago (that I was told was normal) that I am almost completely missing the septum pellucidum. And I had called an optimologist and faxed over the MRI to seeif the possible vision problems could be because of the septum pellucidum. He said no. Its not bad enough I guess.
Anyways, a friend/ health psychologist that I have suggets that I may have chiari malformation. But I think my symptoms sound more hormonal... Low basal temp, like 97.2 everyday, sometimes lower, still lactating and had my son 2 years ago, three periods a month... I am just staright up confused and am wondering if chiari cango hand in handwith thyroid/ hormone disorders? Do persons with thyroid diseasehaveringing ears and/ or swallowing issues with vision problems? Please give me some input if you have any!
