Firstly Fi and I had an absolutely fantabulous time talking with Odette, Amy, Tracey, and A.A last night. It felt like a party I had the cam up and running (thanks to Amy's insistence) I'm so glad I did. Fi was squealing also a times it was so cool. Thank you guys for inviting us into your lives. A privilege to know you guys :) My daughter was so excited also!!!!
Today was full on also. Fi turned up and we went to an animal show. My daughter is at a sleep over and my son was stupidly playing Hockey (even though I said not to) so it was a cruisy time. Fi knew many people there due o her profession and I knew a couple of people. But seeing all those cats and dogs and Lama's and sheep and watching C.P.R on animals took me back to days before:)
I was quite tired but we were walking for a couple of hours. There were even Chihuahuas in clothes "WRONG" totally wrong, PEOPLE, animals do not need clothes. There were stalls also selling animal outfits, example red tutu's superman suits, and bling everywhere *vomit in mouth* wrong wrong wrong.
After that we floated off to have dinner with Fi's partner Gman. Great meal (thanks Fi ). Then back to mine for a movie, which I basically slept through.
My son is sick at the moment with fevers (38.5 today) and rigors, headache, sore throat etc (no runny nose or cough ). He complained last night so I gave him paracetamol and nurofen. But he appeared better today and insisted on sport, racing out the door before I could stop him. Alas he is worse this afternoon and I'm tossing between is this seasonal Flu, Swine flu, or Measles, or Tonsilitis based on his symptoms. We have a bad outbreak of measles and he has been playing sport against the Schools most affected. So after Fi left I examined him thoroughly for signs of measles. He is in the age group where they believe the vaccine was faulty and this kid doesn't get sick. So I will wait it out to see if it improves by tomorrow. The paracetamol and nurofenhaven't been overly effective in getting his temp to a more normal reading, so wait and see.....Oh yes and I lectured him on spreading his disease to there kids, he appeared as a non plussed teenager in response.
So that's why I wasn't able to meet up again tonight with Amy etc, because I know I have to yell for you guys to hear me and he has a headache in the next room.:( sorry and hugs
