I have a schatzker 2 displaced lateral tibial fracture. Over 4 weeks ago I had op and 7 screws and plate inserted. I currently have a leg brace fitted for 6 weeks of non weight bearing and i am currently just over 4 weeks of leg brace and now exercising to 60 degrees comfortably. I still have swelling with slight pins and needles in my foot and mottled circulation in my foot. I am a 39 year old female and i want to get back to work as i am a single mum but im anxious as to how long this mending will take. It is still naturally a little painful.
