Assuming that you don't smell vinegar when you're sitting upright, then I wonder if you have something going on inside your head, specifically your mouth, nose, sinuses, etc. We all have a distinct smell about us due to a combination of our oils & skin bacteria. This can be complicated by poor hygeine, both body and oral. Assuming that you can't get rid of this smell after brushing your teeth & rinsing your mouth, then I'd recommend going to see your dentist or family physician who might need to refer you to ENT specialist. Good luck!
