Who knew? Health Business Blog booted from AdSense
Posted Nov 17 2010 11:40pm
I’ve never run advertising on the Health Business Blog, but just for kicks I decided to sign up with Google to let AdSense place ads on my Feedburner RSS feeds. I figured since I have 8000+ RSS subscribers maybe I could earn a few dollars without cluttering up the blog itself. After a couple days Google suspended my AdSense account –didn’t really tell me why, although the implication was that some kind of click fraud was going on. How that would be happening I have no clue.
I appealed the suspension, and got this note in reply:
Hello,
Thank you for your appeal. We appreciate the additional information you’ve
provided, as well as your continued interest in the AdSense program.
However, after thoroughly re-reviewing your account data and taking your
feedback into consideration, our specialists have confirmed that we’re
unable to reinstate your AdSense account.
As a reminder, if you have any questions or concerns about your account,
the actions we’ve taken, or invalid activity in general, you can find more
information by visiting

Sad to say it looks like I won’t be able to retire off my AdSense earnings after all and will have to find some other way to pay my bills!
