Tell your doctor about:

  • All your medicines, whether they are prescription medicines over-the-counter medicines (brought from a pharmacy or shop), herbal remedies, vitamins or food supplements.
  • This includes any medicines that you inhale, any creams or ointments, any eye, ear or nose drops.
  • Any allergies.
  • Any other diseases or conditions you have because they might make you more likely to have side effects from certain medicines.
  • If you are pregnant, thinking of becoming pregnant or breastfeeding.

You should always ask your doctor about all aspects of your medicines, including why you are taking them and what benefits you can expect.
