I am 61 yrs of age and noticed today I had a dark brown stool, although it was a normal shape and consistency... Mind you I have been taking a combination of antibiotics and pain pills for 8 days due to an apparent absessed wisdom tooth..... this condition occurred after I completed my medication. As a precaution I have not taken any additional medicine (other than 3 asprin).... which I will also stop taking no matter what other pain may arise.... please tell me what the problem might be... thanks.... tio sammy
Thank you Meredy.... I just went to the dr this morning.... he says I have a minor infection in the stomach and gave me MORE ANTIBIOTICS and something for acid influx..... and to take lots of water and fiber..... lets see where this gets me.....
