I was diagnosed with sleep apnea in 2004 and use a bi-pap machine nightly. For the past couple of years my eyes are very swollen every morning when I wake up. Actually, my entire face appears to be swollen. It takes several hours for the swelling to go away.
It seems that since I've been diagnosed with sleep apnea, my breathing has become more shallow. Is this swelling related to my sleep apnea and is there anything that can be done to prevent the swelling?
