As Flu and Cold season is coming up I am reminded that last year was a better year. I believe my Bladder was a complete septic focus, and must have been contributing to lowering my immune system.
A couple of years back it was one of the worst.
Catching multiple colds and viruses.
At one point I managed to obtain a great dose of whooping cough, while catheterised with, out of control diarrhoea, throw in a U.T.I then to top it off Influenza.
I felt like death warmed up, and struggled and
rigored my way around a poorly heated home.
Waking up in the night on one occasion I was shivering uncontrollably thinking I had
sweated buckets. No the
blimmin catheter had
detached itself completely soaking my bed.
It was the worst three months of health I had experienced.
I was also experiencing external
stresses such as Court cases with the ex, and other extreme stuff.
I never went to hospital for any of the above complaints, except to my G.P who took swabs for Whooping Cough with which the Health Department then sent me a letter confirming it. I was studying at the time and other classmates also had it.
Then, I missed my Consultants Urology clinic because I was in court with the ex, she penalised me by not seeing me for another 6 weeks and therefore having to leave the catheter in longer.
In spite of being catheterised while' Whooping' away incontinence managed to become an issue due to the abdominal pressure. An ugly sight really.
In spite of last years issues, I actually am much healthier than I have been in years.
Yeah, infection city happening in my
Neo Bladder, but due to it no longer being associated with a urethra, or the
symphysis pubis, or constant spasm, the pain is tolerable majority of the time.
Instead I now suffer bowel pain, which I am kind of used to.
For that I am
grateful to have had it removed.
This week however has been a nasty week for bladder symptoms. Back ache,
diarrhea,
lethargy, nausea,
head achy, kidney pain from refluxing urine, referred pain down legs and nether regions, butt kicking stomach cramps requiring morphine to be able to function.
Yet having to take morphine is not a daily or weekly event, its only when I have to be able to function, I use it as a last resort.
People
aren't even aware I am on it as it is working where it should be, on the pain not the brain.
The slow release medication I take I tend to not double up on.
As once the pain wears off I am left with maybe ten hours of a drug not needed in my system complete with side effects.
So I stick to quick acting short term relief, then reassess after a few hours.
It works for me.
The difference between the two organs when infected is remarkable.
I can function much better now than what I did before!
For this reason I
don't regret having the surgery.
Now I am putting some positive energies out there to keep my stronger immune system for this winter.
I certainly do not need the Brisbane Flu that the powers that be are predicting to hit New-Zealand........
