Vitamin D and Weight Loss

I came across this new  study the other day.  It shows that baseline Vitamin D levels correlate to more weight loss on a diet.  In the study, the authors checked the Vitamin D levels of participants and then put them on a low-calorie diet.  Those who started with the highest Vitamin D levels lost the most weight.  This happened in a stepwise fashion, with each level of higher Vitamin D correlating to more pounds lost.
