I had an L4-5 discectomy six years ago. I have had episodic sharp cramping pain since then,. more recently in the last year or two. EMG/NCVs were positive only for the old herniation. Last night I noticed sharp toe pain, with the fifth and fourth, and perhaps the third toes of the foot spasming sharply outward, forming almost a V with the big and second toes. Recommendations, suggestions?
