Tumour on brain affecting left eye

Posted by Rahul N.

Hi,

My father had a probem in his left eye last year. It was a pain in the left eye and left side of the head. We showed it to the eye surgeon and he had identified Glaucoma.

As suggested by him my father had a small surgery for both the eyes to release the pressure caused by Glaucoma.

Still after this he was getting intermittent pain in the left eye upto the upper side of the head. As suggested by the eye surgeon we did a CT SCAN and it was found that there is a tumour on the brain which is pressing the nerve of the left eye causing the pain.

We took the opininon of multiple surgeons and most of them suggested to do a surgery. While nobody assured us of the results and some of them even told us that the results can be abnormal and the patient's condition after the surgery cannot be predicted. My father did not want to go ahead with this and hence we did not do the surgery.

In the meanwhile we got response from couple of surgeons saying that they have patients who have similar problems and being survived for more than 3-4 years without surgery. We also explored some options other tha normal medicines, and going for Homeopathy. My father could see some improvement after that but lately the eye pain is still there and even the head pains some times intermittently.

Pls. suggest solution for this ASAP. Your help will be appreciated.

Regards

Rahul
