Trouble Falling Asleep

I am taking Melatonin for sleeping which is not working. Can you please tell me if is okay to take Relaxin at the same time? I want to make sure when I take Relaxin, do I get use to it?

Hi Farah -

Melatonin does not help some people fall asleep. Rather, it wakes them up.

Relaxin is a good choice. You may try taking 1 soft gel capsule 30 minutes before bedtime. If 1 soft gel of Relaxin does not work for you, increase it to 2 .

Magnesium deficiency is highly common. Magnesium deficiency also causes improper sleep and difficulty falling asleep.
Consider taking 2 capsules of Magnesium Glycinate three times a day . The Glycinate form of Magnesium deficiency is highly common. Magnesium is very well absorbed and easy on the stomach.

If your problem relates to staying asleep at night, this is typically due to low protein. Ensure that you have a protein snack before bed to ensure more peaceful sleep. Beans or chicken are a great protein source.
