tongue at back sides where connected to bottom of mouth is red,painful to swallow or move tongue

both sides of my tongue, at the very back where the tongue is connected  to the mouth tissue is painful and red and swollen. It hurts to move my tongue or swallow. What could this be, and no it's not gonoreha,I just had a baby and was tested during pregnancy.
