While cooking dinner, I managed to burn all 10 of my fingers yesterday. I was in the midst of a conversation when I went to put a casserole back into the 400 degree oven I had just taken it out of to add some ingredients, and I did so without putting on potholders. Ouch! I'm can't remember a time that I've felt pain shoot from one part of my body up to my brain.
I tried cold water, an ice pack (which I read online is not necessarily a good idea), and even tried dipping my fingers in egg whites-an online tip that didn't seem to help at all.
I went for a walk and the cool air helped numb the pain, and on my way back I stopped at the pharmacy for juice. It was there I found Scar Zone Burn Gel and decided to give it a try.
I wholeheartedly recommend using it. The pain dissappeared, and all I felt, and still feel, is a little sensitivity. And of all 10 fingers, only one has bubbled.
So that's my advice. But I wonder if anyone has other home remedies that don't cost $5+ as well.
