Hello! I am a 39 year old female. I am a cosmetologist, so I am on my feet all the time. I normally work 4 days a week and 10 hours a day. I have not injured my ankle but the inside of my right ankle has been swollen and sore for about 4 weeks or so. It is so sore that when I move while I am sleeping the pain wakes me up. I get shooting pain throughout it off and on all day long. I have taken advil for the pain and swelling. Anyone have any ideas what could be wrong?
Over pronating foot maybe with flattening arches. Could be lots of things but most probably Tarsal Tunnel Syndrome. Get a Doc to refer you to orthiotics dept for custom analysis and insole designs.
