I am a 43 year old female.  I was on tamoxifen (as a breast cancer preventative) when I first noticed the pain.  I have been off tamoxifen for 2 months, but the calf pain continues.  I have noticed also that the varicose veins that I have always had seem to be worse looking---could that be the problem?
