Swedish firm SCA Tena is set to launch a new range of gender-specific incontinence pants in the next 12 months, it has been revealed.
The company has announced that it has developed new protective underwear which it hopes will make life easier for its customers.
Featuring a new design print, the pants are tailored to fit the different body shapes of women and men. The male range will resemble men’s underwear, making it more comfortable for them to wear in comparison to unisex pads. “It is a totally new approach to the category. We will be first in Europe to introduce this concept to the market,” said Katrin Rosenbichler, European marketing manager at SCA. “The launch of new gender-specific Tena protective underwear will clearly differentiate us from our competitors.” The new range of products are set to be launched in several major European markets including France, UK, Germany and Greece.
