Supplements for Women - Do Multivitamins Really Work?

It's a lot easier to pop a pill than it is to plan and prepare well balanced meals and for a long time, I think everyone believed that a multivitamin was a good backup plan for diets that were, well, less than balanced.
But in this report from Harvard Medical School, we might have to reconsider the pill-popping strategy at least for some vitamins.
Looks like the best choice is to eat nutrient dense foods (a list is in the article from Harvard) and supplements for Vitamin D and Calcium. Good things to talk over with your family doctor.
