Stem Cells Help Heal Diabetic Ulcers

Researchers at the Bristol Heart Institute found specific stem cells which helped heal chronic, ischemic diabetic ulcers. The CD133+ stem cells, along with collagen, were transplanted onto an ischemic diabetic wound.
