In poking around Flickr , I came across Serena, an amazing photographer from North Carolina who is working with Carolina Donor Services and Donate Life NC on a photo project to call attention to the faces behind the issue of organ donation. Serena was motivated to start the project after her Mom passed away waiting for a heart transplant. You can check out some of her Donate Life photos here .
