It starts out with a more complete version of the "Smoking Tooth" video.Then it gets into some interviews, including a lengthy interview with Boyd Haley.
One of the most notable quotes for me came from John Rowe, of the House Committee on Government Reform. Rowe said, "An oversight in these investigations is so glaring that it seems to me that it must be intentional. These federal doctors and scientists can't possibly be this stupid. They always measure the toxicities as a stand-alone thing. When they are trying to measure mercury and calculate whether it does or doesn't do damage, they act as if mercury is the only substance in the gut or the bloodstream, and that's just plain silly. He also points out that the allowable level of mercury for infants is calculated as if they received a balanced dose over 180 days, which isn't how it happens. They receive the full dose each time they get an inoculation.
Both are excellent points.
Dr. Kennedy closes with a few interesting facts: "The San Francisco Bay Regional Water Quality Control Board reported a 90% drop in sewage mercury when mercury separators were installed in every dental office in the city." All this moaning about power-plants and dentists are causing the pollution!!
He also states, "The amount of mercury found in 5 silver fillings is enough to contaminate 1 billion gallons of water." YIKES!
The production quality of the DVD is nothing to write home about, but the content is *very* good. Every dentist that still believes mercury is safe should watch this!
