I have had reoccurring shingles & vertigo every couple of months; since having the shingles vaccine a year ago. I am 52 yrs. old and have had Epstein Barr; and a lowered immunity, for 30 yrs. and had full blown chicken pox 15 yrs. ago. prior to the vaccine I had shingles once.
What can I do, to sop the reoccurrances. This last case when I stopped taking acyclovir, a few days later it returned & I took another course of acyclovir, when I stopped taking it again; got vertigo a few days later. I've been going through this for the last 1 1/2 mos. I'm still fatigued & slightly off balance and nausious.
