A friend of mine has been diagnosed some time ago with the above two diseases. She is self treating with various immune enhancement therapies. Her condition is worsening , however, she is insistant that she must have a "healthy strong" immune system to combat these diseases? I do not understand this as I have PBC which is an autoimmune disease of the liver and I was told not to take anything that would boost my immune system..
