Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, UK, June 17, 2014 /PressReleasePing/ - Live music, wakeboarding, beach games, local food and drink, a funfair, comedy, entertainment and activities for all ages are all set to come to Abersoch next month.
The village, home to several of Quality Cottages' Abersoch holiday cottages, will again play host to the annual festival which always proves popular.
Wakestock 2014 will hit the shores of Cardigan Bay from the 11th to 13th July this year, with the festival headlined by Tom Odell, Frank Turner and the Sleeping Souls and John Newman.
This year Wakestock has evolved to become Wakestock Y Mor, or Wakestock Festival of the Sea, reflecting how Wakestock's existing reputation as an annual festival featuring the best in music and wakeboarding from around the globe has been brought back to its roots as part of a celebration of all that is great and good about its home, the Llyn Peninsula, Cardigan Bay.
From this year on the festival will come to be known for showcasing the best in music, comedy, poetry, arts and food and drink from across Wales – as well as music from all over the world and Wakeboarding.
This year you can also look forward to daytimes filled with activities for the whole family including workshops, a fantastic fairground, amazing art installations, entertainment and activities for all ages and much more. The evenings will see some of the country's top bands and DJs take to the stage. This year there will also be the addition of extra stage and more music to suit all tastes and ages. Look out for loads of announcements over the coming months.
The festival takes place over three different sites in a stunning location, the festival site itself, Pwllheli Marina and Abersoch Beach.
