Consumer Decision Aids Consumer Directed Health Care has become the latest "buzz-word" in healthcare today. The Americans enjoy coining neologisms, most of which are terrible, but I like this one. It should actually be obvious, since all health care is meant to be patient-centred, but doctors often tend to forget this simple fact - that the only reason for their existence is their patients.
