Just wanted to offer some quick follow up to my entry from April 2nd. A walking cardiac risk factor was doing some work in my office when he had sudden onset of chest pain and his EKG done of the floor of the kitchen area showed ST segment elevations consistent with a heart attack.
It turns out he was transported to the nearest cath lab thirty miles away and did have an emergent cath with stent placement. Two days later he decided he had enough and left the hospital against the cardiologist's medical advice. His first stop on the way home, my office. He had forgotten his hat and he wanted to make sure no one walked off with it.
