This past weekendwe had the pleasure of filming a new video with a special donor family.
Anne Gulotta joined us along with her daughter Elizabeth and son J.R. Anne lost her husband Jay in 2002. Jay’s heart was donated to a 55-year-old manhis left kidney to a 42-year-old womanhis right kidney to a 16-year-old girl and he gave someone the gift of sight through corneal donation. Jay’s tissue and bone were also used to enhance the lives of others in need.
It’s always special to be able to meet and listen to the incredible emotional journey that a donor family goes through. It’s a perspective that doesn’t receive a ton of media attention but is celebrated with great honor within the donation community.
We look forward to pulling the video together and below are a few shots from the shoot. It can’t be said enough but thank you to all the donor families out there.
