Peripheral neuropathy treatment

My wife has peripheral neuropathy. What do you suggest for this?
Answer:
Hi there -

I’m sorry to hear that your wife has symptoms of peripheral neuropathy.
The good news is that there are numerous effective products to decrease the symptoms of neuropathy.
Neuropathy may be improved with nutritional support. Research shows Alpha Lipoic acid, L-carnitine, oils high in GLA and EPA/DHA are effective in reducing symptoms of neuropathy.
Cell Salts which have an affinity for nerve tissue are all the Phosphate salts.
If you have diabetes, the most important thing you can do is control your blood sugar levels.
You may find the recommended products in the Neuropathy category.
I most recommend Alpha-R-Lipoic Acid. It is the active form of Alpha Lipoic Acid and is far superior to the inactive form.
Should you have further questions, please do ask.
Do update me in a month with how she is doing with the above recommendations. I am confident she will notice improvement in a few weeks if she takes Alpha-R-Lipoic acid, controls her blood sugar and uses a reflexology mat. The fish oils are highly recommended as they keep inflammation down. We have capsules and liquid fish oil - her preference.
In health,
Dr Ben
