My husband came home from the ophthalmologist last week and said that he wanted to start taking macular degeneration vitamins to stave off that dreaded eye disease. His brother was diagnosed with it several months ago. After talking to his eye doctor my husband learned that it does run in families. So as a preventative measure he’s going to start to take a combination of those vitamins that are believed to prevent it. Because he’s on blood thinners, he will take one with no vitamin E.
