Thanks to everyone who came out and supported The National Kidney Foundation 2007 Gift of Life Walk! More than 1,200 walkers helped raise awareness for kidney disease and helped make this the most successful event for 2007! We had a perfect day to walk along the lake and we're already looking forward to next year!

“Team Baxter” takes to the lakefront for the gorgeous three-mile Gift of Life walk. The free walk was also followed by an educational health fair, refreshments and entertainment for children and adults.

Lions of Illinois Foundation Night Walk - June 3, 2007
The third annual Lions of Illinois Foundation Night Walk was a great success!!! A team of 23 people representing the Illinois Eye-Bank participated in the 3-mile walk to raise funds to benefit visually impaired children and adults to help them live a better life, and to help stop preventable blindness.
