my rids on both sides are sooo sore to touch but no pain otherwise,had Breast cancer in 07, had double mesectomy, why is it sooo

When someone pokes at my sides my ribs area I scream with pain, they feel sooo bruised, I have not done any over straining or injury. But did have Breast Cancer in2007, had a double mesectomy, so why are they so touchy??? have no pain otherwise just to touch????
