My doctor told me I pulled a groin muscle in my inner thigh. My calf is swelling more than my thigh, is this normal for a groin

I can flex my calf and foot with out pain, my calf is not sore to the touch or in any pain unless I walk more tan 1/2 a block. I'm female, 35, non-smoker.
