Hoarseness can go along with the aspiration pneumonia from inflammation of the bronchi.  Her vocal cords might also have been affected.  The swelling in her feet and legs could indicate a secondary effect related to lung/heart circulation, a problem with her nutrition (which can occur very quickly in the elderly during an illness), or something like anemia.  Keep in touch with her doctor and make sure she is eating and drinking properly.  Also keep in mind that I know nothing about her general medical condition or the medications she might be taking because this can also create similar problems.
