UTI's

UTI's

Question:
Will manuka honey cure staphylococcus aureus found in the semen (UTIs)

Answer:
Hi there -

I am unsure of Manuka honey curing staph found in semen.

First thought is no it would not but it may. It certainly cannot hurt to try.

Manuka honey is typically applied on the surface to kill unwanted bacteria. However, Manuka has been researched to help eradicate Helicobacter pylori found in the stomach. Thus, it may make it down into the bladder area and effectively kill the staph.

Staph is commonly found on the skin surface but can become too pervasive and cause infections.

If you are symptomatic and uncomfortable, I recommend seeing a physician to attempt to get this resolved.

Staph aureus can be difficult to treat and resistant to many antibiotics.

Consider D-Mannose and Cranberry to prevent the staph from binding to the bladder walls.

Vitamin A is needed to improve your immune function.

Eat as much crushed raw garlic as you can. Crush garlic, let it sit for 20 minutes, then eat. The longer you let it sit, the better. This is because crushed garlic left sitting makes allicin. Allicin is very potent against staph.

I would also consider adding a potent acidophilus to help crowd out the staph. Taking 1 Acidophilus sachet in a small amount of water with dinner may help crowd out the staph.
