lung scar?

My partner had a small very old scar on his lung,he is 29 now and its from when he was a child.he has been checked for TB and is negative,he is also completely healthy,but when he was a child he got poisoning from eating poison berries,he was vomiting blood and caughing alot,he was like that for a whole month,could that cause a scar on his lung?
