Low White Blood Count

Hi, i recently went for a full blood count and my results have come back as follws;
Haemoglobin 12.0
PCV 31.2
RBC 4.0
MCH 30.2
MCV 89.8
White blood count 3.3
Platelet count 281
My doctor has told me that my wbc have been decreasing and has asked me to return in 2 months for another test and if my levels are continuing to drop i need to see a Hematologist. What exactly could be the problem, everything i look at online talks about Leukemia.
