February 15 – James Nace, D.O. , had a blog published about how to stay injury free throughout the year. It has generated more than 500 views so far.

February 27 – Baltimore Business Journal – A story about the Center for Geriatric Surgery appeared. There was mention that the program could spread to Northwest.

Sinai Hospital

February 11 – – JoAnn Coleman, clinical coordinator for the Sinai Center for Geriatric Surgery team , was quoted in an article about guidelines for older aging Americans.

February 24 – Baltimore Sun, – A brief about Neil Meltzer being appointed to a second term on the National Care Workforce Commission appeared.

March 1 – Daily Record Dawn Leonard, M.D. , breast surgeon and medical director of the Herman & Walter Samuelson Breast Care Center , was named to the 2013 Top 100 Women list.


March 1 – Baltimore Business Journal , The Weinberg Foundation’s $10 million gift to Levindale for its expansion is mentioned in an article about Donn Weinberg’s accomplishments as chairman of the foundation’s board. His term is now over.
