I was prescribed levequin for an infection. I have always been healthy, active and happy. I have been miserable for three years now. I have a severe vitiman D deficiency. I get skin itching, rashes and blisters with very little exposure to heat of any kind (shower or sun). I now have swollen joints, my joints pop, and my chest feels like an elephant is sitting on it. I no longer can ride my horse, hike, or even sleep well. I have anxiety attacks, sweat at night and have nightmares. My doctor made no connection of my problems with the levaquin until he prescribed it for my pneumonia recently, and this time I read the contraindication sheet. I got online to find info on this and lo and behold--everyone else has some of the same problems. I've never had any illness that lasted more than a week! I have just kept getting worse. DON'T USE THIS ANTIBIOTIC!
