Kiss Your Dentist Goodbye: An Excellent Book

Posted Dec 11 2012 10:03pm

The other day I finished the book, “ Kiss Your Dentist Goodbye ” by Ellie Phillips.  It is probably the best book I have read this year!  The info she puts out just seems to be light-years ahead of other dentists.

Her system boils down to the use of xylitol and also typical drugstore rinses.  She laid out such a clear and engaging case that I bought into her system and started following it right away.

Best of all is that she is an acual dentist, and she has had many years of experimenting with and tweaking her system.

She points out the progressive nature of tooth decay, and that drilling and filling doesn’t stop the progression.  Her idea is to change the bacteria in the mouth for long-term health.  She even suggests trying to let teeth mineralize in certain cases of light tooth decay before going the drilling route.

Overall, it was a well-organized, excellent book on oral health.
