I love the Olympics. In factsome would say I’m mildly obsessed. How can you not be?!
This Olympics will be particularly exciting for the donation community as professional snowboarder Chris Klug hits the slopes to compete in the Parallel Giant Slalom event. For those that are unfamiliarChris received a lifesaving liver transplant back in 2000. Following his transplanthe went on to win a gold medal in the event mentioned above at the winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. There was even a documentary film created that captured Chris’ experience.
Chris has been an incredible advocate for organ donation and joins a talented snowboarding team to tackle gold in Vancouver this year.
