What to expect:
The Cycle Fit classes at LifeBridge Health & Fitness offer an opportunity for a rigorous cardiovascular workout that is challenging and fun. The sessions take place on very sturdy stationary bicycles that allow riders to “sprint” and “climb”; the goal here is to try and simulate an outdoor ride, which would include varying terrain such as flat roads (which you would ride at a faster pace), and hills which need more effort to conquer. All rides are led by certified cycling instructors who guide the participants throughout the class.
Instructors show participants how to properly set up the bikes to maximize comfort. Music is used to motivate riders on this pedaling journey, which lasts 45 minutes (though there are a couple longer rides offered).
