I was bitten by an insect about 4 days ago. I now have a rash that has gotten bigger over the past few days. Is this something

I was sitting outside doing homework when something landed on my arm.  I smacked it and went on with my day.  I didn't get a look at what it was, but about 3 days after I got a rash.  Then it started to spread, hasnt spread that bad, but is double its size.  Yesterday i had joint pain all throughout my arm.  It has gotten better today.
