I moved to the U.S. about 8months ago. I am a very athletic and healthy person(nutritionisy) and used to be a fitness instructor. Now I am working at a school with K-3rd grade kids and I keep getting sick ( cold, congestion, bad cough that leaves me gasping for air, general lack of energy ). Is this just a cold? Is there something I can take to boost my immune system ? I have taken aderogyl and broncovaxom..But keep getting sick. Help!
Everybody's constitution is different. It seems you have a good foundation. In a classroom you are exposed to kids' germs on everyday basis. I haven't had a cold in 6 years, and I will tell you what I do. I go out and bike every day for 30min., and cary my bike to 3.floor (my weight training). It is important to go out into different weather conditions! I drink 1 Danactive (blueberries) yoghurt and have plain yoghurt, raw oatmeal, flaxseed meal, almonds, cinammon and slices of banana or apple for breakfast. One cannot live stress-free, but one can carve out small units of time in a day for a mind-and-body rest. I think that helps the immune system. I imagine, it does for me. Good luck!
