I was diagnosed over a week ago with Bronchitis (which had already been going on for two weeks prior). I was given a cough suppressant and a Z-Pack. The antibiotics seems to help a lot at first, but now it seems my symptoms have come back. The current issues is that my chest is in so much pain it hurts to even move, let alone cough. I'm so uncomfortable that I can barely sleep or lie down. I don't have a family practitioner because he just left, would this be something minor that could be delayed a bit until I can make an appointment with a regular family doctor, or should I go to an emergency room?
