i have been having abdominal pain and bloating

I have gotten Ultra sound, hdi scan, ct-scan, etc. all come out negative. 

But i am suffering from abdominal pain, feel very bloated right after eating even just a slice of bread, discomfort on the right side. Been told i have IBS.. is that true? what can I do to help get better? I have not been eating solid foods for a very long time now.
