I have a burning, irritated feeling in my upper chest, hoarseness, that gets worse towards end of day. Chest xray is normal,

I am regularly clearing my throat though Dr says to try and stop.  Nasal irrigation brings temporary relief but problem persists.  Dr suggested fluticasone, no help, sudafed, no help.   Did test positive for walking pneumonia and took anitbiotics but no change with these symptoms.  This has been going on for nearly 6 months.  What next?
